The primary mission of the Beaverton Arts Foundation is to support the Beaverton Arts Commission by raising funds to benefit the programs and activities of the Beaverton Arts Commission.

Early June: 29th Annual Visual Arts Showcase & Sale SUBMISSION DEADLINE
The new submission deadline is scheduled for early June 2011 and will be conducted through the online Call for Entry system, otherwise known as CaFE.

November 5-19: 29th Annual Visual Arts Showcase & Sale
Beaverton City Library, Rooms A & B 
The Showcase is a juried art exhibition featuring the works of approximately 100 Oregon artists each year. The show features works in a variety of media, including; watercolor, oils, acrylics, pastels, prints, photography, mixed media, fine craft and sculpture.

February 5: Gala Open Night Reception for Donors—Preview 28th Annual Visual Arts Showcase 
Enjoy a sneak peek at the 2010 Visual Arts Showcase, open to the public on Sunday, February 7. 

February 13: Mayor’s Ball 
Tiger Woods Conference Center at Nike World Headquarters 
The gala charity event is held each year to raise money for three non-profits in the local community. 

February 7-20: 28th Annual Visual Arts Showcase & Sale
Beaverton City Library, Rooms A & B 
Features 100 works of art in a variety of media created by local artists with a juried art exhibition and sale.

April: Award Nominations for Outstanding Achievement in the Arts 
Art students are nominated by their teachers to receive a monetary award of $1,000 to $2,000 toward art education. Winners selected by experienced committee members who evaluate students’ artistic merits. 

June 21: Annual Art Awards Ceremony
City Council Meeting at Beaverton City Hall, 6–8pm 
Join Mayor Denny Doyle and the Beaverton Arts Commission to celebrate the recipients of the 2010 Outstanding Achievement in the Arts Awards where students, individuals, organizations and businesses will be recognized and honored for their significant contributions to the arts. 

June 29, July 27, August 31: Beaverton Last Tuesday 
The Round Fountain Plaza, 5–8pm 
Dance, eat and enjoy Art at Beaverton’s Summer Concert Series.
